简介： The story of Parker’s new effort, penned by William “Billy” Ivory, is inspired by true events and is set in the summer of 2014. On the occasion of the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings in France, octogenarian Bernard Jordan (played by Michael Caine) made global headlines. He’d staged a “great escape” from his care home to join fellow war veterans on a beach in Normandy, commemorating their fallen comrades. The bittersweet script is said to explore “the reality with wit and a very big heart”. Bernie’s adventure, spanning just 48 hours, also marked the culmination of his 60-year marriage to Irene (Glenda Jackson). The film will also celebrate “their love without any sentimentality and with an eye to the lessons we might all learn from the Greatest Generation”.《伟大的逃兵》于2023年英国上映，由奥利弗·帕克导演，迈克尔·凯恩,格兰达·杰克逊,沃尔夫·卡赫勒,约翰·斯坦丁,卡莱斯·皮尔,丹妮尔·维塔利斯,劳拉·马库斯,威尔·弗莱彻,唐纳德·萨基·马凯,伊恩·克宁汉,基拉·贝尔,Daniel Hayde,Isabella Domville,Victor Oshin,乔·伯恩,Simon Darwen,Graeme Dalling,Jack Johnson,Peter Theobalds,Jeanette Maskell等主演的一部剧情片！
